Evening Winter Wrappings
All links lead to my former post which contains a glossary

This elegant evening ensemble is at the height of fashion. The underskirt and bodice is composed of interchangeable silk (ciel blue and pink) and an overskirt and corsage of cream-tinted lace.
The skirt drapes at the front of the overskirt creating a tablier effect tying with a large bow at the back, before ending in deep pleats.

The lace overskirt and corsage end in scalloped edges around the square-cut collar and wrists, gathered and held by bows of silk. The bodice is laced at the back like a corset and extends into a deep point at the front and back while cut high on the hips.

This Parisian Dolman jacket is made of cream silk voided velvet, trimmed with white fox and chenille silk fringe with an elegant feather design woven in. Single hook fastening at the neck. The lining is cream quilted satin, perfect for the winter.
Coiffure decorated with cream feathers and pink roses.

Winter suit for a boy from 3 to 5 yoears old. Navy with box pleats around the waist with grey rabbit fur trim around collar and cuffs.

Illustrations done in watercolour and ink
